We are proud to announce Bessie Award winning
will join our roster of internationally acclaimed dance companies for representation worldwide

Known for thought-provoking theatricality and virtuosic musicality, Camille A. Brown & Dancers (CABD) makes a personal claim on history through the lens of a modern black female choreographer. Camille A. Brown’s work uses the aesthetics of Modern, Hip Hop, African, Ballet, and Tap to tell stories that reclaim the cultural narratives of the African Diaspora. The company’s work builds understanding of and appreciation for the African American experience.
“I have long admired Camille's distinctive voice and her body of work for Camille A. Brown & Dancers. She is a much needed bright light for the future of dance and theater. My utmost appreciation to Pam Green at PMG Arts Management for her tremendous work in advancing the company’s legacy; I am elated to continue Pam’s tireless dedication.” – Margaret Selby

“It has been my joy and honor to support Camille and CABD at such a critical time in the development of her artistic voice and the company’s work. I am thrilled that CABD will now be represented by Margaret and Selby/Artists MGMT. I know that Margaret will do a great job helping CABD continue to thrive." – Pam Green

The works of CABD are strongly character based, with a rich palette of dance, rhythm and gesture. Brown has a singular gift for wedding movement and meaning — her fully drawn dances can convey a state of mind, depict a whole community and probe profound subjects. Theater, poetry, scenic design and live musical accompaniment merge to inject each performance and program with energy and urgency.

"What unfolds is a parade of the beautiful diverse spectrum that is once performing yet simply being." – Theresa Ruth Howard, Fjord Magazine

Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, American Dance Festival, New York City Center’s Fall for Dance Festival, BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!
