New association comes as iconic American dance company approaches its 75th anniversary and centennial of founder Paul Taylor’s birth.

Selby Artists Management today announced the addition of Paul Taylor Dance Company to its distinguished roster of performing arts clients. The collaboration unites one of America’s most storied modern dance institutions with a leading arts management agency, positioning the company for a landmark period that will include its 75th anniversary and the centennial of founder Paul Taylor’s birth.

Founded in 1954 by choreographer Paul Taylor, Paul Taylor Dance Company stands as one of the pillars of American modern dance. Taylor, who danced under both Martha Graham and Merce Cunningham before going out on his own, built a singular body of work spanning more than 140 dances — from the joyous and athletic to the dark, comic, and hauntingly dramatic. Prior to his death in 2018, Taylor selected Artistic Director Michael Novak to lead the company into the future.
