Named one of Dance Magazine’s 25 to Watch in 2013 and Best of Culture by the Los Angeles Times, BODYTRAFFIC has been instrumental in establishing Los Angeles as a center for contemporary dance. With their versatile repertoire BODYTRAFFIC is internationally recognized as bridging both new audiences and experienced dance enthusiasts with works by today’s most distinctive choreographic voices such as Kyle Abraham, Hofesh Shechter, Barak Marshall, Richard Siegal, and Victor Quijada among many others. BODYTRAFFIC recently toured Israel and Jordan as part the DanceMotion USA tour which is produced by the Brooklyn Academy of Music in conjunction with the U.S. State Department.
This January during APAP 2018, BODYTRAFFIC will be showcased as part of The Joyce Theater’s American Dance Platform, curated by Christine Tschida, Director of Northrop at the University of Minnesota.
